OUR BUSINESS
Le Panier is composed by a group of direct and satellite laboratories between Sicily and Tuscany for a total of more than 150 artisans. Our laboratory in Acireale (Sicily) is composed of 18 artisans of average age of 32 but with a collective experience of decades. This Lab is devoted mainly to the development, (CAD design, pattern making, prototyping) industrialization, and production of special pieces, samples and small quantities; But also in research, experimentation and professional training.
Accustomed to confronting us with designers and Product manager in a global context we have acquired a mindset of knowledge of markets, customers and international products. Le panier has an internal production capacity of more than 1.500 pcs per month; considering our satellite labs (1 dedicated to small leathergoods) we add a capacity of 30.000 bags and 20.000 small leathergoods per years.

Thanks to our passion, the small dimensions of each team and our philosophy (everyone must know and be able to master every stage of the developing process) Flexibility is, together with the “creative” knowledge, the pillar on which we have built and developed our work and It is this flexibility that allows us to proceed by not following binding rules for customers but by defining them according to the product and needs of the designers and PM with whom we work closely since the first stage.
Another important aspect on which we are building our growth is the complete transparency on all the process and related costs for our customers, who receives a detailed cost sheet for each product and cosntruction phase. On this transparency we base cost- Commitment to the pursuit of the customer’s qualitative and numerical objectives.

MODELING
AND SAMPLING
This is the heart of our activities totally internal. Modeling for us is an extension of the client where each stage of development is shared and deepened to the fullest in any detail with designers, respecting our maxim: “dealing with things before they exist” as this focus allows you to totally target Customer’s style, requestes and target cost.
MATERIAL PROCESSING

Thanks to the experience of the team, matured in companies of high luxury, and high technology we are among the few companies that develop and work with fine materials such as crocodile, python, ostrich etc. and with technological and innovative materials that require special adaptations and constructions.

COST ANALYSIS
We work with the customer by providing high standards in the LUXURY industry and trying to optimize processes, and materials to get the best result at optimum costs. To do this we have a careful analysis of the development and industrialization processes since de-briefing with customer and modeling and industrialization.
PRODUCTION
PRODUCTION
All Production is handled internally and all phases are centrally controlled and centrally coordinated with process managers and quality managers starting from the leather up to the packaging phase. Thanks to the strong coordination and eingeneering of the modeling, planning and R&D phases, we guarantee optimum time to market, even on small quantities, and continuous monitoring and visibility for the customer.
